to first responders to help save lives.
Steven was a good hearted soul who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. This foundation is a way to continue his good deeds.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Our foundation is organizing a cook-off to raise funds to purchase needed equipment for local first responders and provide scholarships to local high school students. West Texas is a central area in the oilfield industry and the traffic in this area has risen considerably over the past few years. This rise has caused a considerable amount of traffic accidents and many deaths.
The founders of the organization suffered a loss in the family due to an automobile accident. Steven was a kind hearted soul who would give the shirt off his back to those in need. We created this foundation to give back to others in his memory and hopefully help save other lives with the donated equipment.
We are reaching out to companies in the hopes that they will be willing to sponsor our event, donate or participate. The event is scheduled for July 19-20 in Midland, TX at The Broken Horn Bar & Grill. As a sponsor, we can display your sign that you provide to us during the event. There will be prizes awarded to the winners of the events; amounts will be based off the number of competitors. There will be a raffle, auction items, and a band playing on July 19.

There are four levels for sponsors: bronze $2,500, silver $3,000, gold $4,000, and Platinum $5,000 or more but we will also accept any amount that you are willing to donate and appreciate any help. We are also looking for sponsors who would like to donate paper goods or food items for the plates of food we will be selling or to donate items for the auction or raffle. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Our cut-off date to get sponsor logos on signs will be June 15, 2024. We will accept sponsors up until the date of the event. We will also be accepting vendors for the event (no food). Please contact us at smithhartfoundation@gmail.com for more information on vendor spots.

IBCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP COOK OFF
Come join us for some food, fun, music, and vendors. Event starts at 10 am on July 19, 2024 at The Brokenhorn Bar & Grill in Midland, TX.
There will be a free concert on July 19, 2024 from 8 pm - midnight featuring The Shakedown, The Texicans Band and The Mufasa.
There will also be an auction that takes place during the concert for various items. The awards for the cook off will take place at 5:30 pm on July 20 in The Brokenhorn Bar & Grill. The raffle will take place during the awards ceremony. Scholarships will also be handed out at the awards ceremony.

Cooks and cook trailers will be in designated areas. Vendors will be located within the back patio area and the lower back area as marked on the map. The gate located between the trees and the building of the back patio area will be open for the public to access vendor area. Parking for the public will be in front of the building.
