IBCA State Championship Cook off
Come join us for some food, fun, music, and vendors. Event starts at 10 am on July 29, 2022 at the Kermit VFW.
There will be a Pit Party on July 29, 2022 from 9 pm - midnight in the far Pit area behind the VFW featuring two bands. Bring your lawn chairs or email to reserve a vip table! Entry fee to concert is $10 per person or $15 per couple. We will have parking available in the pit area.
There will also be an auction that takes place during the pit party for various items. The awards for the cook off will take place at 5 pm on July 30 in the VFW Hall. The raffle will take place during the awards ceremony.

There will be designated parking in the pit area! Must have wristbands to enter pit area! Wristbands will be available at the concession stand in the VFW hall or at the entry way to the pit area! No outside alcohol allowed!
There will also be an auction taking place during the concert at 10 pm. A list of auction items will be posted before the concert.

Our foundation is organizing a cook-off to raise funds to purchase needed equipment for local first responders and provide scholarships to WHS and KHS salutatorians. Winkler County is a central area in the oilfield industry and the traffic in this area has risen considerably over the past few years. This rise has caused a considerable amount of traffic accidents and many deaths.
The founders of the organization suffered a loss in the family due to an automobile accident. Steven was a kind hearted soul who would give the shirt off his back to those in need. We created this foundation to give back to others in his memory and hopefully help save other lives with the donated equipment.
We are reaching out to companies in the hopes that they will be willing to sponsor our event, donate or participate. The event is scheduled for July 29-30 in Kermit, TX at the VFW. As a sponsor, we can display your sign that you provide to us during the event. There will be prizes awarded to the winners of the events; amounts will be based off the number of competitors. We will also be selling plates of food, shirts, and a souvenir cup. There will also be a raffle, auction items, and a band or two playing on July 29.

There are four levels for sponsors: bronze $2,500, silver $3,000, gold $4,000, and Platinum $5,000 or more but we will also accept any amount that you are willing to donate and appreciate any help. We are also looking for sponsors who would like to donate paper goods or food items for the plates of food we will be selling or to donate items for the auction or raffle. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Our cut-off date to get sponsor logos on signs and shirts will be June 15, 2022. We will accept sponsors up until the date of the event. We will also be accepting vendors for the event (no food). Please contact us at smithhartfoundation@gmail.com for more information on vendor spots.
